Shipping Policy
Thank you for choosing Movotex. Since our products (portable toilets and bathrooms) are oversized industrial units, they require specialized logistics. Please read our shipping terms carefully before placing your order.
1. Shipping Methods & Destinations
-
Global Sea Freight: We primarily ship via sea freight (FCL/LCL) to major ports worldwide.
-
Door-to-Door vs. Port-to-Port: We offer both options depending on your location. Please note that for "Port-to-Port" shipments, the buyer is responsible for local port charges and final delivery.
-
Service Areas: We currently ship to the United States, Europe, Australia, and the Middle East. For other regions, please contact our team for a custom quote.
2. Lead Time & Delivery Estimates
-
Production Time: As a factory-direct supplier, standard units take 7-15 business days to manufacture. Custom orders may take longer.
-
Transit Time: Sea freight typically takes 25-45 days depending on the destination port and current global shipping conditions.
-
Estimated Delivery: While we provide estimates, delivery dates are not guaranteed due to potential customs delays or port congestion.
3. Shipping Costs & Quotes
-
FOB/CIF/DDP: We support various Incoterms. Unless otherwise stated in your specific quote, shipping costs include sea freight but may exclude local taxes and duties.
-
Custom Quotes: Due to the size of our units, shipping rates fluctuate. All online checkout estimates are subject to final confirmation from our logistics team.
4. Handling & Receiving (Crucial for Oversized Items)
-
Unloading Equipment: The buyer is responsible for providing a forklift or crane at the delivery site to unload the units.
-
Inspection Upon Arrival: You MUST inspect the exterior of the units for any damage before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL).
-
Reporting Damage: If any shipping damage is visible, please take high-resolution photos immediately and note the damage on the delivery receipt. Notify us within 24 hours.
5. Customs, Duties & Taxes
-
Import Responsibilities: The buyer is the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country.
-
Fees: Any import duties, VAT, or brokerage fees incurred at the time of customs clearance are the responsibility of the buyer.
6. Order Tracking
-
Once your container is loaded and the vessel departs, we will provide you with the Bill of Lading (BL) and a tracking link to monitor the vessel’s progress.
